Helmut Petzsch A Family Gathering Oil on Board Frame: 12” x 16” Image: 8” x 12” Provenance: Collection of the family. Helmut Petzsch (1920 - 2008) was a painter in oil and watercolour, of landscapes, urban scenes and figure subjects. He came from Germany to England in 1932, and later studied at the Edinburgh College of Art under William Gillies. He exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy and with the Society of Scottish Artists.
